Carpentry furniture school- Tips

 If you clamp metal onto a piece of plywood or other material you can get some nice straight cuts. All you need to do is work out the blade offset so that the cut is the right lenghth. You can test this on a scrap bit of wood.

A pencil mark can sometimes be confusing. It is worth using crisp arrow points. The arrow can be much more exact. Just make sure you remember what side of the line to cut on!
